December 2014 Motocross Social Media Report

In December, Hookit tracked 134 of the top motocross riders. Together they gathered 442.9K new followers and generated 9.2M fan interactions. Of those new fans, 58.5% came from Facebook, 34.4% from Instagram and 7.1% from Twitter.

November 2014 BMX Social Media Report

In November, Hookit tracked 130 BMX riders and their social media reach. Together they created 7.7M fan interactions and garnered 347K new fans. Almost 60% of the new followers originated from Instagram, while 36.4% are from Facebook and only 4% from Twitter.

October 2014 Motocross Social Media Report

Hookit tracked 134 of the top Motocross riders in the month of October. Together these athletes aggregated 461k new fans and 7.8M fan interactions. Instagram dominated the source of new fans with 66.5% of all new fans coming from the platform. Facebook followed in second with 26.8% of new fans and Twitter at 6.7%.

October 2014 BMX Social Media Report

In October, Hookit tracked 116 of the top BMX riders. Together their reach generated 6.6 million fan interactions and over 350k new fans. With Instagram being the leading source of these new fans, it played host to 54.4% of all new fans, while Facebook held 43.2% and Twitter only 2.4%.

September 2014 Motocross Social Media Report

Hookit tracked 135 competitive motocross riders during the month of September that generated 350.7k new fans and over 6.2 million fan interactions. Of the 350,707 new fans 36.1% came from Facebook, 55.1% from Instagram and 8.8% from Twitter.

September 2014 WCT Social Media Report

Hookit tracked 54 WCT Surfers during the month of September who generated 923.3k new fans and 12.7 million fan interactions. Alana Blanchard is back on top with the most fan interactions hitting 2,003,200 beating Gabriel Medina and Kelly Slater who dropped to number three. Blanchard now has 2,623,300 total fans in social media gaining 142,297 new fans (a 5.7% growth).
