2020-2021 Season Recap Powered by Hookit
Nearly a quarter of all sports fans on social media are followers of at least one entity across top European football leagues. As the Euros get to their final stages and in the middle of the summer offseason of the country leagues, Hookit looked at 6 of the top European football leagues, the teams and players within them, and the UEFA Champions League. Here’s what was included:
All players, teams, and main league accounts within the:
- English Premier League
- La Liga
- Serie A
- Bundesliga
- Ligue 1
- Liga NOS (Portuguese Primeira Liga)
The analysis also included UEFA Champions League main accounts. The reason these 6 leagues were selected is that the final 16 teams in the Champions League came from these 6 leagues. Other teams and players in the Champions League from outside of these 6 leagues were not included in the analysis.
