What have you been up to lately (events, races, edits, contests)?
Just wrapped up the Mini O’s, which was also my final “B” class race. I will be making my “A” debut this Saturday at the ArenaCross Tour event in Philadelphia, MS.
How did you get into riding?
My Dad used to race and he took me to a Loretta Lynn Qualifier in Burlison, TN and I thought it would be fun to ride a motorcycle.
What drives you the most to keep progressing in your sport?
I want to be the best that I can be and I work very hard to podium at every event.
What do you think is the biggest accomplishment as an amateur athlete so far?
450B Title at the Spring Classic this year, that or the fact that I got a personal invitation to ride the James Stewart Ride Day for Champions this year (even though I didn’t title at Freestone)
What goals do you have for the next year?
Continue training to podium in all my events, especially Loretta’s and obtain my Pro License.
Why do you think it’s important for brands to support younger up and coming riders such as yourself?
The sport is getting more and more expensive and to be on a competitive level you have to have the best equipment under you as well as the best training. I know that my family sacrifices a lot in order for me to be where I am and compete with the best possible equipment they can give me. If it wasn’t for my sponsors helping us I don’t think I could have what I have now.
Anyone who you would like to thank for helping you get to where you are today?
My family (Mom, Dad, and sister Rhianna) first and foremost–like I said before, they sacrifice a lot for me to be able to do this, MTF, Maxima, Renthal, HookIt (you guys have really helped me by getting my name and stats out to possible sponsors, Monster Army, Fly, and Bell.
